I think this is a pretty good list, and breaking the list out by seasons is a very good idea as it's important to not just pick the right place, but to also pick the right time.

The only spot here that gives me pause is Papua New Guinea. PNG is a reasonable destination for those with a very high tolerance of hassle and who are ok with some safety risks, but it's a very different type of place compared to the others on the list.

I grew up in Ohio, and in college speech class we were encouraged to learn that central Ohio was considered so accent-less that TV announcers were told to talk like us. HOWEVER—at Ohio State University, they have a cheer that goes A-H—I-A; Ah-Hi-Ah! Now does that sound like O-HI-O to you??

I enjoy traveling the country and hearing the different styles of speaking. Some people are very good at ferreting out where you're from, just from listening to you. We've had people peg us as Minnesotans just by listening to us, both in Missouri (from a former Minnesotan) and in Philadelphia (from someone who asked about a locally famous poet, guessing we'd know who we were talking about).

I have been using British Textiles since 1974 and have bought literally dozens of suits, slacks and sports jackets from them. They have bene fabulous, the service is excellent and Danny remembers my name even if I walk in to his shop after a several year interlude! Great recommendation!

My IQ is 119. I always get to the 11th stage and then get lost. I was able to get so far along by going on sheppards website and studying the continents of Africa over and over as well as Asia.
